Pelagic Concourse

The seaborne counterpart of the eastern mountains, this series of islands bucks in and out of the water, forming the teeth of Agrophon's eastern shore. Its construction took a bit of divine influence: the concourse used to be a ragged coastline, connected firmly to the mainland, but Pelages drew it into the sea and made a sort of sideways archipelago. Purportedly, Chelys destroyed the calm shoreline to prevent large armies from crossing southward into Ossifrey. Only small groups can make good time across the Pelagic Concourse: the route involves several canoe trips, careful planning around the tides, and a dangerous trek through each of the three islands.   Ornity sees the concourse as a tactical weakness, since adventurers can use it to slip through their blockades and encroach on the mainland. To control this passage, they made a deal with Corsany de Palaver, protecting her fishing village in exchange for her strength, and her ability to deal with overconfident travelers.

The Shadow Concourse

Shadow characters make heavy traffic on this concourse during their migrations. In the The Shadowfell, most creatures here are only passing through. But there is a population which has taken root here: Banderhobbs, shadowbuilt creatures who finished their duties and retreated by the hundreds to a city of their own.
