An elusive Suthermont case.   Developments - Act I
Habit moved quickly across Kudo, stealing to survive and leaving when things got too dangerous. He learned a bit of language to figure out the schedules of people he robbed, and he became an adventurer to survive the long stretches of time between heists. Habit wasn't exactly sure what he is, so he learned about himself through local rumors; apparently he's something called a "menace," or possibly a "ghost."   Habit is careful to steal only from those who can afford it, to avoid attracting enemies. Despite this, he's accrued a massive amount of guilt using the sentience he doesn't know how to manage. He acts like he's committed murder even when his desperate actions are justified.
