An even mix of humanlike evolution, influence from gods of nature, and alterations by the The Feywild, dwarves are a rare but famous people in Agrophon. They're a clever combination of mundane and divine elements, and they seem to be a living response to other species: their fey side gives them sturdiness and longevity, as opposed to the adaptable goblinoids, and their spiritual side connects them to the slow-changing land, as opposed to elves' connection with those mutable things which grow on top. Dwarves appear throughout most of the continent, but they also have their own homes in places which others find uninhabitable.
