Calvus Oclatius
An augur who fled his sacked village to take root in Teucra, where he advises the Stakes by providing magical intel on the Duumvirate War. It's hard to tell how much his troubled life has affected him: Calvus is relentlessly dull, rarely changing the tone or pace of his speech, and it's difficult to make him register surprise.
Some augurs approach their work with a theatrical air, playing up the divine importance of their auguries. Calvus takes the opposite approach. Magic isn't considered commonplace in most parts of Agrophon, but it's been a part of Calvus's whole life. The omens he reads are obvious, empirical, even boring. He handles the gods' paperwork.
