Jaoluug
The Jaoluug translates from Orcish as "Land that Bites". This land is the most verdant on the entire continent. Freshwaters and deep greens spread across the southern land.
Geography
The Jaoluug takes up the entire southern terrain, separate from the ered climates the rest of Ojad-Dokk suffers by the Byrmjud. The northern rim consists of endless moors that dip into steep trenches of sludge and river. However, the further one comes from the mountains the land slopes gradually out of the high altitude winds into open fields that separate mud holes and hills with 5-mile stretches of grass, river and not much else. If the continent weren't so lively with savage beasts, you may consider the Jaoluug to be a beautiful respite.
Fauna & Flora
The monstrous beasts of Ojad-Dokk do not migrate to this side of the Byrmjud. The most vicious creatures to appear on the fields and clusters of woodland are oversized bears, boars, elks and Axe Beaks, as well as numerous swift birds. These creatures only survive on this land through sheer speed and agility, for the deadliest aspect of the Jaoluug is the fauna.
Numerous varieties of plant life grow in the Jaoluug and a large number of them have become the top predators of the province. These plants are carnivorous and will assassinate any naive wanderers that cross paths with their roots.
Natural Resources
Despite the ferocity of its wildlife, the fruits they bare are a necessary risk for the Ezda Tyranny. Medicines, Beverages and even narcotics make for great profit. The Ezda Tyranny sustains itself with trade deals across other continents, including pirates that roam the Xafis Sea. Many rare potions could not be concocted by anything outside this hostile environment with its savage greenery.
