Purpose / Function

Built the following year after the first wrym war. Many rulers notion of a peaceful life was shattered and Kalaphex sanctioned this watch to be built. Believeing his biggest threat was an invasion from the chromatic dragons from the south he had massive watch tower built on the southern bank of the country.

History

Built right after the end of the first wrym war. During the ensuing wars Kalaphex was almost slain by a black dragon,however a member of his loyal phalanx a human man by the name of Paladin Ostagard saved his king's life sacrificing his own life. To honor his loyal subject he put his eldest son in charge of the tower upon it's completion. At the time Ostagard's son was fresh out of training but proved his worth to the king over his years ruling over the tower. Since then Kalaphex has left the command of the tower to members this loyal family. The current ruler is Paladin Cork. A descendant of Ostagard.
