The Harbor of Temswell was founded in Decay, 772 as a small satellite port-town of Temswell. The population remained steady from 772 through 821. In 822, when Temswell was destroyed, most of the surviving citizens fled to The Harbor of Temswell. From this event in 822 through the present day, the population of The Harbor of Temswell has nearly tripled.
Demographics
The Harbor of Temswell is a very diverse port. The population is evenly distributed among races, wealth, and profession. All races of Agghorion are represented among its people, though it is odd to see the more "monstrous" races walking freely about in the daylight. The distribution of wealth ranges from beggers to nobility, though most people fall into the lower-middle class for wealth.
There is no dominant profession in The Harbor of Temswell. Jobs available to the common folk range from deckhand to merchant. Many citizens choose to work on ships transporting goods across Atera, and occasionally to other continents. This lifestyle often leads to spending half a year away from the city, leading to the city appearing less populated in the warmer months.
Government
The Harbor of Temswell was under the direct rule of Baron Jasper Roslin, who served as the king's hand for the region until his death in 1219. Currently, his descendant Baron Gregor Roslin rules this town.
Baron Roslin tends to remain hands-off in his rule, except for tax seasons. Most disputes are solved by a small council of 7 respected merchants with any disputes they are unable to solve being elevated to the Baron.

The Harbor of Temswell is situated on a peninsula with a flat, open area on the south side of the town. The town has a single wall, spanning the length of the peninsula, that protects it's one area open by land.
Industry & Trade
The Harbor of Temswell is a port-town that thrives on trade. While nothing unique is manufactured or developed in The Harbor of Temswell, the town sees its fair share of ships needing crew members, supplies, and a place to rest. Many ships will trade the goods they carry for any of these provisions necessary. The goods they trade are then sold and sent to ports and harbors across Atera.
Guilds and Factions
The Shipwright's Collective is a guild based out of The Harbor of Temswell that serves all of Atera. This guild was founded in an attempt to help thwart piracy and create a system of fixed-rates to prevent ships from gouging merchants.
History
The Harbor of Temswell is a town founded on a tragedy. Most of the current residents are descendants of those who fled the disaster of Temswell in 822.
Following the death of Baron Jasper Roslin in 1219 the town found itself in a political struggle for approximately 20 years. From Eternity 1219 until Ire 1237 the town had no recognized leader. During Ire of 1237 the Roslin line regained control with the help of the King's Royal Army.
