Notya Thadim- Mayor
Mayor Notya Thadim (a.k.a. Chief)
Notya Thadim is the current mayor of Forwold. She did not run for the position of mayor, but the people of Forwold unanimously selected her. This was the first time in the town's history that someone who did not directly run for the position was elected. Notya has held this position for 23 years since being elected in Perdition, 1314.

Personal history
Notya was the de facto leader of Forwold prior to being elected as the mayor. She had been the head of the town's militia since Gifts, 1209 and is widely considered to be one of the best to ever wield a bow this side of the Silver Bluffs.
When the Goblin raid of Gifts, 1209 occurred, Notya took up the mantle of Ranger-Captain and rallied the town to defeat the raiding Goblins. She took a small team of 14 Rangers and 3 Fighters and managed to defeat a horde of over 700 Goblins. After driving the beasts back into the Gale's Breath Forest, Notya and 4 of the 17 defenders took to the forest to slay the remaining Goblins. Notya and her companions returned from the forest wielding a chain of 316 Goblin ears. Since this day Notya has been heralded as a town legend and the de facto leader.
