Inspired by the rise of the Calamities, many Amps become the heads of their own empires.

The introduction of the Calamities sparked a massive shift in society. Rather than being seen as subhuman, Amps were now seen as beings capable of greatness. Some hungered for power and authority and found it by overthrowing, subverting, or creating governments through their immense power. They were dubbed the Soverigm.   The competition for territory led to occasional skirmishes, but many conflicts were resolved by negotiations and cooperation. Networking with other Soverigm could grow power bases and increase their resources. Calamities had little interest in the affairs of Soverigm and rarely interfered in their conflicts except in rare instances. Soverigm treated the Calamities with respect in return.
