Cult of White

We all see the filth of this world.
We share our disgust towards it.
And we're going to clean it up.

For some reason, those affected by Mind Bleaching, a sickness caused by White reaching the brain, have an unnatural ability to sense each other. Because of that, they start to form secret communities until, when the moment is right, they start to convert others by force or if they see the neighborhood as too filthy to cleanse, they burn everything to the ground. Those are the cults of White.

Forming of a cult

Depending on the size of the area with a high saturation of White, staying within it can affect only one person or whole communities. If only one person is affected, their sickness follows its standard symptoms of germophobia and perfectionism. However, if more people are affected, additional symptoms start to show up, while the standard ones tend to show up way later. They all begin to want to meet together. They plot and scheme when together while acting almost normally on the outside. Only occasionally showing their true disgust to all that is unclean.

Conversion and cleansing

Once they feel they are ready, the cultists of White will begin to kidnap people they deem worthy of getting converted, those getting too close to the truth, or those disgusting enough to cleanse at once. In the first case, they usually start to experiment with using White to "convert" others by artificially infecting them with mind bleaching. Most of their first possible converts die during the process so they keep the most valuable "recruits" for later.
In the second case, they kidnap people whose traits or lifestyle they find disgusting. They start with those whose disappearance won't be noticed, such as people without families or homeless, but as they grow in power they start to get rid of those who live their lives in a hedonistic way. Once or twice cults like this messed with the wrong person, in both cases a Witch, and faced their wrath.
To cleanse someone, cults tend to use things that have been known to work against the uncleanliness, such as water (drowning), cleaning agents (forced consumption). and fire.
Once the numbers and the influence of the cult grow enough to be able to overpower the authorities of the settlement, the day of cleansing comes. The cult stops hiding and it brings purity to all who await it.

Behavior of a cult member

Even the best hiding cult members tend to show some of their true colors in the way they act. Their smiles seem fake, they act aggressively when something gets dirty, their movements are somewhat stiff and robotic.

Leader

In most cases, cults of White don't have anyone that could be considered their leader. They act together like a well-oiled machine. Sometimes, however, a very charismatic or intelligent individual gets affected by mind bleaching. White Color, as if sensing a worthy host (or maybe due to some Color affinity), begins to affect them more and more without leading to Oversaturation (condition). Their bodies become white, their skin, their eyes, their hair.
Other cultists see them as idols of purity and start to worship them. The leaders stay in the hideout of the cult, commanding them from shadows until the world is clean enough for them to step outside.

Outfit of a cult member

In their daily lives, undercover cultists tend to wear normal, but tidier than usual clothes. Slowly they change more and more of their things for those that are white. The change is slow enough to not draw any attention in most cases.
When they start to show their true colors, for example during the day of cleansing, they throw the pretense of normality out of the window. They dress completely white, preferring robes and suits. Those serving under the leader usually start wearing blank masks.
