Covarr Silverclaw
Covarr is the nephew of the Premier House Silverclaw, and the younger son to his family. So far as he knows, he is the House's only survivor. He came to Waystone hoping to create a sanctuary for survivors from his House, whether blood relatives or house retainers.
Covarr is clearly used to leading. Whether he is comfortable with it is yet to be seen. He has butted heads with Isha Jankyns over authority in the town and has yet to find a way to resolve that conflict.
Covarr was trained as an Aldori Swordlord, but something went wrong during his Proving and he has not been initiated into the Swordpact.
Covarr and Kyrion met when he caught her stealing and helped her rather than see her arrested. She and he have a close relationship.

Covarr is always wearing a voluminous black cloak. Under it he carries an Aldori Blade, but he keeps this concealed most of the time.
