Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Average height, on the skinny side.
Body Features
Long brown hair, always tied up in a messy low bun at the nape of her neck.
Facial Features
She has high, prominent cheekbones, but her mouth and nose both look just a little too big for her face to be called 'pretty' - her nose is very slightly hooked and her lips are broad, but nicely full. She has a few freckles on her nose and forehead.
Her dark eyebrows are also quite prominent in her face, and her green eyes are smaller than beauty standards dictate, though not abnormally small.

If you were to meet her on the street, you would quickly forget about her - she is neither beautiful nor ugly enough to remember.
Her friends would know by now that she had the tips of her elven ears cut off; however, none of them has had a good look at her ears yet.

Apparel & Accessories
Altheas clothes are simple, but well taken care of. She is usually dressed in dark colors, primarily dark blues, greens and greys. Her clothes are simple and of medium quality materials. They might be a little worn down in spots, but those have been immediately darned with decent skill, in order to not have the damage become worse and keep the garment wearable and presentable for as long as possible.
She wears wide-legged trousers in either a dark green or a dark blue - both colors not very vibrant. Her shirt is usually a dark slate blue or grey, with a square neckline that shows at most her collarbones but is still modest.
Her dark, slate-blue cloak is hemmed to mid calf length in order to avoid the filth of city streets.
By now, those travelling with her would know that she wears a small, wooden brooch expertly worked from a darker wood on her undershirt - she does not usually display it whatsoever.

Light crossbow on her back, as well as a backpack, bedroll, and tent.
She also carries a mirrored shield and chain shirt of very good quality - though the chain shirt is usually worn under her outermost layer.

Personal history
Althea grew up in Ayleston. She has an older brother named Carric. Her elven father and her human mother both worked as scribes. Together with her elven grandparents they lived in a modest, rented apartment in one of the poorer parts of the city.
Her grandfather died when she was 10; her grandmother followed soon after.
Althea was a lonely child. As neither fully human nor fully elven, she never truly felt part of either culture. She had a hard time making friends and often felt bullied. Her brother, however, seemed to fare better.
As a teenager, she had the elven tips of her ears cut off. She hoped to blend in more easily.
She followed her parents' footsteps and took up work as a scribe, whereas her brother Carric worked as a tanner's assisstant.
Her mother Holly died when she was 19. Her brother Carric then left to join the Wardens. Her father Soveliss died almost a year ago.
In the wake of her father's death, Althea realized that she was now indeed alone. She connected with Valanthe, an old family friend, who taught her about the elven faith.
A short time later Althea made a pact with the Morrhaeg - promising knowledge, for knowledge in return.
Shortly after, she set off towards the College, where she met Warren, Tora, Lorgar and Tiberiax, thus starting her biggest adventure yet.

She takes very good care of her hands and nails, keeping them short and practical. When you touch them they are, however, not exceedingly soft - her skin is not rough, but you can tell that she is used to working with her hands. She does not have any prominent callouses however.
