Fjor Quarters

Description:
Fjor Quarters (pronounced 4 quarters) is a small section of Ravenscar at its main gate. This is primarily the area most travelrs stay in when coming to Ravenscar. It has the inn, stables, and small storehouses for wares.   The stables and storehouses are close to the Eastern cliffs that overlook a smaller grove before the expansive Gloom Timber continues on. There is a small garden and homestead close to the inn and a small pond stocked with fish.   Prominent Locations:

Madame Rasha's Lodge

Description:

    • Appears to be a short elderly female human
    • Madame Rasha has lived near Ravenscar for... well... as long as anyone can remember.

Onyx Spires

Description:
This somber structure of grey stone and black roofed spires lies at the rear of Ravenscar close to the cliffs with a cememtary nearby. It's chambers are generally bare in nature with only the polished marble walls. It's main chambers are for remembering the dead and paying respect to the Matron of Ravens.   There are a few burial preparation chambers, a few storage rooms, and some meditation rooms. Under the main structure lies catacombs and tunnels twising through the cliffs and under the Gloom Timber.   Prominent NPCs:
  • Mourin
    • Male Raven Aarakocra
    • Head Priest of the Ony Spires
    • Mourin is one of the few Raven Aarakocra. He was a Kenku before being restored by the Raven Queen.
  • Allar
    • Allar is a kenku, a temple acolyte, and a common sight in and around the Onyx Spires. Occasionally he is seen going to the markets but other times he hops around the graveyard tending to things and tossing rocks from the cliffs.

Outer Wall

Description: The outer wall of the city is an amalgamation of stone, bramble, cedar, and wooden fences built up to 30ft tall and at its height 60ft. There is only 1 gate on the south side near the edge of the wall. The gate and gatehouse also houses a small barracks for those stationed along the wall.   NPCs:

    • Emerald Green cloak with the insignia of the Emerald Hunters on it.

    • White Winter Strigidae Leader
    • Bartholomew has lead the clans here for over 32 years.
    • He is elderly with his strength and sight failing. He is already 44 years of age, past the average lifespan of most aarakocra.
    • Once a great warrior, in his old age he has stayed back and overseen Ravenscar in its time of relative peace.
  • Lady Teryah (Tear-eye-uh) Dawnwing
    • Female White Winter Strigidae - Wife to Batholomew
    • 42 years of age Lady Teryah is a symbol of grace in Ravenscar. Her abilities as a druid helped several of Ravenscar's recent additions to its defences, agricutural plots, and wings of the Timber Heart.
    • Lately she spends most of her time tending to her gardens around Ravenscar.
