The Askillian Empire is a powerful and prosperous nation that occupies a large island in the middle of the Southern Ocean. The Askillians are a proud and industrious people, who have mastered the art of engineering and invention. They have no access to magic, unlike most of the other nations in the world, but they have compensated for this by developing advanced steampunk technology that powers their machines, vehicles, weapons, and buildings.
The Ironspire Citadel: The capital and the largest city of the empire, The Ironspire Citadel is located on the eastern coast of the island, facing the mainland. The Ironspire Citadel is a marvel of engineering and architecture, with towering skyscrapers, intricate bridges, and elaborate monuments. The Ironspire Citadel is the political, economic, and cultural center of the empire, where the emperor's palace, the noble's council, the central bank, the university, and the museum are located. The Ironspire Citadel is also a hub of innovation and invention, where many of the empire's finest engineers, inventors, and scientists work and study.
Brynhild: The second largest city of the empire, Brynhild is located on the western coast of the island, facing the open sea. Brynhild is a bustling and vibrant city, with a busy harbor, a lively market, and a diverse population. Brynhild is the trade and commerce center of the empire, where goods and services from all over the world are exchanged and sold. Brynhild is also a home to many adventurers, explorers, and pirates, who seek fortune and fame in the unknown lands and waters beyond the empire.
Cyrus: The third largest city of the empire, Cyrus is located in the center of the island, surrounded by mountains and forests. Cyrus is a serene and peaceful city, with a natural and rustic charm. Cyrus is the agricultural and ecological center of the empire, where crops and livestock are raised and harvested, and where the environment and wildlife are protected and preserved. Cyrus is also a place of spirituality and mysticism, where many of the empire's philosophers, healers, and seers live and practice.

Of late, the Empire has begun to stuggle with a lack of natural resources on its archipelago. The Emperor has recently ordered his forces into the resource-rich jungles of Xalocatlan, where they continur to fight skirmishes with the local Lizardfolk.

The current Emperor of the Askillian Empire is Emperor Oddai; a human of approximately 60 years, who came to power after bringing incredible new technology and inventions to the greater Askillian public.
