Short introduction to Aewyn

Greetings, and welcome to Aewyn

In a universe, that seems oddly familiar yet so different, the earth-like planet Aewyn lies peacefully in the solar system of Misty Teï.
Life on Aewyn seems to be going slowly and merrily with many civilizations and cultures blooming around the continents.
The star in their skies, Êdgar, rises on the Aweynian horizon greeting them every day. Though Êdgar is a fairly young star some of the planets orbiting him seems to be much older. Theories suggest some of the planets were formed in other solar systems and have later been captured by Êdgars gravitational pull.
Since the first major supernova - one that happened relatively close to Aewyn and formed the Blue Lily Nebula - several thousands of supernovae have been recorded.
Answers to why this is happening more and more frequently differs a lot from culture to culture, and some have extremely large disagreements on the subject. Tension is rising between some cultures all the while the supernovae become more frequent by year - hell, even by the day!
Something is definitely up, but many are too busy disagreeing with one another. What a terrible waste of time. Hopefully, they will understand the importance of the happenings in the sky and why they need to direct their full attention to it.
