Keptine Calendar

The calendar was named after Kepti, goddess of the moon, and therefore the divine keeper of time. Some Keptine traditions also associate the goddess with prophesies and divination, but the Holy Church of Bornica calls such practices superstition, heresy, and even witchcraft.   This is a lunar calendar that marks the New Year by the first New Moon following the Winter Solstice. Every 6 years, a leap month is added to the calendar between the months of Pronen and Goren.
