(a.k.a. Vip)

The artificer Rondo Dimbuckle owns several smaller clockwork helpers, which mostly serve him around his home. The most important of these is his Bruchsman familiar, a clockwork named Vip. Vip has been imbued by Bruch with a certain amount of sentience, and although he cannot speak, he has the ability to communicate with gestures and writing. He is Dimbuckle's only real companion and his most important creation.
When Dimbuckle's home was raided by orcs, they managed to fatally wound the gnome and destroy many of the smaller constructs. Vip locked himself inside a cage at Rondo's request for his own safety, but he did not have the means to release himself. The Iron Golem, Blast, eventually caught up, entered the home and dispatched the remaining orcs (although the commander is actually lingering on to life, slowly bleeding out).

Vip is a Bruchsman familiar, a clockwork automaton. His name Vip, is short for "Vice-Grip". Vip has been imbued by Bruch with a certain amount of sentience, and although he cannot speak, he has the ability to communicate with gestures and writing. He is Dimbuckle's only real companion and his most important creation.
