Adar of Ikaan (Deceased) (a.k.a. Of the Eternal Order)

Adar, of Ikaan, of the Eternal Tower and the line of the Star Emperor, was born to a minor noble house, the seventh son of a seventh son. His ancestors included heroes of great fame and reviled madmen in equal parts, and the reputation of his family in the wider world was negative or non-existent. Adar was completely unaware of his innate connection to the entity known as "The Star Emperor".   Sadly, Adar was struck down by a wounded mammoth in the great frozen northern wastes. He was buried alongside the bones of the great beast that killed him, and given a warrior's burial by the people he fought along side.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Adar is deceased. Prior to his untimely death, he was in peak physical condition, although he had been recently attacked and bitten by a werewolf. It was unknown if he had contracted Lycanthropy or not, as he died before any symptoms were able to present.

Adar had a fairly normal frame for a human of his age. He was healthy but not overly muscled.

Adar wore a thick black beard.

Adar sometimes manifested a star-shaped brand on his left hand, when he pacted with the entity known as Aym.

Adar, of Ikaan, of the Eternal Tower and the line of the Star Emperor, was born to a minor noble house, the seventh son of a seventh son. His ancestors included heroes of great fame and reviled madmen in equal parts, and the reputation of his family in the wider world was negative or non-existent. Adar received little affection from his parents, who were often away on business or busy managing the family’s small estate. His youth was impacted by tragedy – the death of a favorite sibling, mysterious illnesses among the household staff, and other strange occurrences. Many of the villagers whispered that he was a cursed child. His friends in the village grew distant, his siblings left home to travel the world, and he spent his adolescence in the company of books and stories. When he became a man, he too left home and traveled the western world by land and sea. He worked as a mercenary, a merchant’s guard, and a wizard’s apprentice. Adar’s life was dull and he crafted grander plots to enhance his prestige, win coin and fame, and obtain esoteric knowledge. With a stolen grimoire from his master’s collection and some rudimentary teaching from a blind old wretch met in a tavern, Adar began to master the dark arts of soul binding. He sought to increase his knowledge of the binding arts and dark powers, completely unaware of his innate connection to the entity known as "The Star Emperor".

Adar had the finest education money could buy. He spent his adolescence in the company of books and stories. Adar spent some time as an adult as a wizard’s apprentice, and he absconded with the latter's grimoire. He was also able to gather some arcane training from a blind old wretch he met in a tavern, who taught him the dark art of soul binding.

He worked as a mercenary, a merchant’s guard, and a wizard’s apprentice.
