Unbeknownst to the Citadel and the Hunters who have long been guided under his tutelage, Seraphus Vaelor now conspires with the nation of Thaldrisar towards the overthrow of Verisara in exchange for control of the Citadel and opening its secrets to the public.
Seraphus Vaelor, a revered figure within the Citadel of the Dawn, is a legendary monster hunter and esteemed instructor. His legacy began on the fields of the Battle of Crimson Valley, where he, alongside other elite hunters, utilized Aether-based tactics to drive back a horde of Aetherspawn threatening the heart of Eldenmere. Known for his prowess with his warhammer, engraved with protective runes, Seraphus personally felled numerous foes, demonstrating unmatched courage and strategic mastery on the battlefield.
Following the battle, Seraphus joined the Citadel as a master hunter, where he transitioned from the front lines to the classrooms, and eventually taking a seat on the council as Master of Arms. Over his years of teaching, he emphasized the principles of courage, empathy, and wisdom, imparting to his students not only combat skills but a deep understanding of the Aethers that powered their abilities. His final speech upon retirement reflected his pride and satisfaction in seeing his students carry forward the Citadel's legacy, stressing that true strength is found in purpose and resolve rather than physical might alone.
