Needs & Relations

Elves

The elves, deeply attuned to nature, rely on Aether crystals to enhance their natural magic and commune with the spirits of the land. They need a steady supply of Aether crystals to maintain the balance in their enchanted forests and to channel their ancient rituals. While they recognize the value of trade with other races, they view other species as short-sighted and lacking a true connection to the natural world.

Dwarves

Dwarven society thrives on the practical applications of Aether crystals, using their inherent properties to power their ingenious machinery and craft intricate artifacts. They need a constant influx of Aether crystals to fuel their technological advancements and maintain their industrial infrastructure. While they respect the craftsmanship of other races, they often view them as reckless and ignorant of the true potential of Aether crystals.

Humans

Humans see Aether crystals as a versatile source of power, fueling their arcane studies, enchantments, and magical devices. They need Aether crystals to fuel their ambition for progress, fueling their cities, and expanding their knowledge. Humans value the diversity brought by other races but often view them as either potential allies or threats, depending on their actions and intentions.

Orcs

The fierce and resilient orcs utilize Aether crystals to enhance their physical prowess and bolster their tribal magic. They need Aether crystals to strengthen their warriors, fortify their settlements, and maintain their spiritual connections. Orcs see other races as potential rivals or allies in the pursuit of power, measuring them by their strength and willingness to embrace the primal forces of Aether crystals.

Gnomes

Gnomes possess an insatiable curiosity for Aether crystals, using them to unlock new realms of knowledge and fuel their eccentric inventions. They need a constant supply of Aether crystals to fuel their intellectual pursuits and push the boundaries of innovation. While gnomes appreciate the diversity of other races, they often find their traditional approaches stifling and prefer the company of those who embrace unconventional ideas.   While each race has their unique needs and perspectives on Aether crystals, they all recognize their importance and rely on trade and interaction with other species to obtain the crystals they require. Mutual dependency fosters a delicate web of alliances, rivalries, and cultural clashes, shaping the dynamics of Aetheria's diverse societies.
