Stellar Imperium of Nethearia
Well beyond the borders of the Authority, in space unexplored by humans, there exists a powerful empire of beings who are likewise looking to expand into new territory. They are ruthless and cunning, and appear like creatures from the darker side of human myth and legend.
Appearance
Nethearians come in a few varieties, depending on theri cast. Some look nearly human, whillle others look nearly monstrous, all depending on their caste. All of them seem to have reddish skin, varying from teh rich pink sported by some fo the lower casts to teh blackish hemotite red of some fo their most powerful members. Some fo them have been known to sport claws, tails and wings. It is unclear if they are born with these, or if they are popular cosmetic upgrades.
Castes
Spaun
The smallest and weakest of teh Nethearian castes. Spauns almost neverg grow taller than four feet. They tend to be slender adn wirey. Sometimes they are augmented to have exaggerated sexual fatures. This caste is always subservient to the other castes. Their skin tends to be a bright, pale red, and on rare occasions, they exhibit horns, wings or tails.
Hench
The most human-like of all Nethearians. But for their red skin, and often yellow eyes and sharp teeth, they could pass for humans. It is extremely rare for them to have augmentations liek wings or tails, they a modest percentage of them will develop small horns. They make up a significant percentage of teh Netherian population, and much of the serious work force.
Gorg
Gorg are some of teh largest fo the Nethearians, but most of them tend to also be quite simple-minded. They average in height beteen 6.5 adn 8.5 feet tall, with ehavy muscles, sharp teeth, yellow eyes, and deep red skin. Some fo them are employed for heavy-lifting jobs, but many work as security or soldiers. They have a reputation for being brutal in battle.
Mojin
The ignorant could hardly be blamed for mistaking a Mojin for some sort of higher-class hench, but saying so coudl come with dire consequences. Mojin have a deeper redness to their skin, ofte looking more cherry red. They are much more likely to have horns, wings and/or tails, as well as claws instead fo fingers or toenails. They almost always have exaggerated sexual characteristics, and enjoy flautign their bodies. They tend to enjoy middle-management positions, and sometimes even get command positions liek captaining their own ships.
Skiarch
Skiarchs are tall, slender adn dark. Their flesh and scales tend to be matte black. They often have horns and wings. They often having feline paws instead of talons for feet. Their physiques are toned and slender. They are quiet and wickedly intelligent. They tend to avoid leadership positions, but often serve teh role of spies or secret police. They can often serve as the high-level enforcers for the Gremory.
Gremory
Nearly as tall as Gorgs, nearly as beautiful as Mojin, the Gremory, with theri red-black skin are the undisputed rulers of Netheraira. They almost always have wings, tails, horns, adn claws. They tend to be both physically powerful and frightenignly cunning. They tend to be few in number, each with seemingly an army of Mojin, Gorg, Skiarch, Hench and Spaun to command.
