Nethearean Ships

Here is a list of Nethearean ships player-characters in Aether Horizon are likely to encounter:    First, a note about the Nehearans' favorite weapon, the Infernal Ray.  This powerful beam weapon has a bright red discharge, and uses an unknown power to do significant damage. It is very dangerous to most known forms of both shields and armor.  Prolonged fire fights vs. Nethearean ships are not recommended.    Now, on to the ships...   Chiropter Scout Vessel
Likely to be the first vessels the players encounter. These small, black, two-man vessels are vaguely bat-shaped.  They come equipped with a high-fidelity scanner system, and a small 360 Infernal beam array.  They are very fast, and extremely manuevrable. They are teh only vessels in the fleet likely to be captained by a Hench, who may or may not have a Spaun serving under them.   Se'im-Class Destroyer
A dark, ghostly M1-size vessel .  This ship has potent sensors, as well as a powerful EM pulse generator. Its main armaments are a pair of Infernal beam arrays on teh front, adn one rear-pointed oen on te haft.  The Se'ir is a fast and meanuverable ship, easily able to keep up with the best comparable ships the Authroity and Federation have to offer.  These ships are likely to be captained by a Mojin, with a crew of Hench and/or Spaun.   Aeria-class Gate-ship
The harbingers of doom.  These M1-class vessels by themselves aren't much fo a threat.  They tedn to be very lighty armoed. All of their power is devoted to their shields, adn their gate generators.  It requires two of them at eiteh end to form a gate, but fi they do, a whole fleet may suddenly be flooding into teh system, possibly includinga Gehena-class command vessel. See below.   Sheyd-class Dreadnaught
A larger version of a Se'ir, this i sa bad vessel t osee.  Its forward arc has three M2 Infernal beam arrays. The Se'ir's EMP is instead replaced with a forward missle launcher. This wicked bruiser also has two rear-facing Inernal beam arrays fo ranyone who coudl sneak up behidn it. Again, ti's speed and manueverability are comprable, to slightly superior to similar Authority and Federation vessels.  These vesels are again likely to be captained by a Mojin, possibly with othe rMojin crew, along with hencch, Gorg, and Spaun.    Chthonia-class Assautl Carrier
If the players are seeign these, things are getting very bad.  These vessels do not carry fightercraft.  They are planetary assautl vessels. They will be escorted to theri destinations by Se'irs adn Sheyds, and try to make landfall.  They are loaded own with Gorg heavy assautl troops, possibly with armored land vehicles .  Chthonias are heavy armored, and defend themselves with three M2 Infernal beam arrays on their portt adn starboard sides.  They do not stop to engage oppoents, but proceed inexrably towards theri goal.  They ar eusually captained by Mojin, but sometimes by Gorg., especially female Gorg, who are considered to be mildly more clever.    Gehena-Class Command Vessel
Certainly oe of the last things a player-character wants to see, and mybe the last thing they do see. These massive vessels generally sit at the center fo theri own fleet, and are always commented by a Gremory.  Chiropters, Se'irs and Sheyds heed their every whim, and teh Gehena's massive array of Infernal armaments melt anything that dares to stand before it.  Any one of these  is easily a match, maybe more than  a match, for the most powerful vessels the Authority and Federation have to fofer.
