A Note on Weapons
Apistolian vessels often liek to fire voleys of missles at their target, Plumbata and Pilum missles are designed to pierce the hulls of theri targets, and eitehr overload theris systems with electric discharges, or further weaken their armor and structure with washes of acid. The fumes from this acid can also be toxic to teh crew inside affected vessels. Some fo theri ship sare equipped with the Edict Cannon, which is an energy weapon which can cause some decent damage, but also can cause significant system damage, sometimes shutting down the target's entire control systems, leaving it powerless and adrift in space. A quick, manueverable two-wasp craft, often armed with two batteries of Plumbata missle launchers. Hornet
A four-wasp craft which is the workhorse fo teh Aptisolian Navy fleet. It has two batters of Pilum missle launchers, and two battereries of Plubati missle launchers. Dragonfly
An even larger, more serious eight-wasp ship replete with weapon systems, including an Edict Cannon. Scorpion
This fightening Apistolian vessel has a crew of at least 24 wasps, likely with mor eas inernal security or boarding parties. It has lot sof wicked missle batteries ,and a large Edict Cannon. Soveriegn Hiveship
Only six of tehse massive super-carriers is known to exist: one for each princess, and one for the Queen. They are too large to pass through gates, and thus tend to serve as the las tline of defense in their home systems. They have vast weapon systems, including a Super-;arge Edict Cannon. They tend to coem surrounded by a massive support fleet, and keep a significant number of Parasites and Hornets in their bays, ready to launch.
