The Old Guard
A former decorated member of the guard force, Oskar LaVista is now retired and living out what should have been a comfortable life in Ashport... but not everything is as it seems. Ever since retiring, Oskar has noticed odd behavior afoot, from strange government conspiracies to strange conspiracies in his own kitchen! Truly, the world calls out to this man: his work is not yet complete. Rustling together a group of his compatriots from "the war", Oskar and his group set out to investigate and solve the mysteries taking place in their own backyard. From trivial puzzles such as a mysterious plague, to great cover-ups such as the owner of the perfume that Gerry smelled on his way over, they leave no stones unturned. Oskar managed to procure a secret base for the group's operations, with fairly reasonable terms. Despite his age and occasional impropriety, Oskar should not be underestimated: he gets the job done, and he always seems to be on the right side of any conflict that he thrusts himself into.Mental characteristics
