Isaiah is the Archfather of Ashport's Cathedral of Light, an organization dedicated to following the divine Pelor. As a very visible, high-ranking member of the church, Isaiah is expected to live an exemplary life following the Eight Tenets of Faith. His experience in service to Pelor has made Isaiah into an exceptionally kind, patient man who happily goes to great lengths to make the world a better place, even for just a few people. Pelor's followers hate undead with a passion, which can put Isaiah at odds with certain individuals within the Ashport government. Isaiah has little patience for politics and government. Perhaps this is related to his crusade against undead, but more likely, it's because he is sworn to a higher power than even the highest power in the land. As the leader of the largest church in one of the largest cities in Exignis, however, he can't help but to find himself thrust into the middle of it more often than he wishes, so he has grown to tolerate it. Despite occasional clashes with the government, Isaiah is beloved by most members of society, especially commoners, as he represents a beacon of hope in an otherwise unforgiving land and a pillar of certainty in ever-changing times.History
