Lostbloods

The Lostblood is the name for an ancient race that dissapeared from Aervos Prime in the third era. Their original name is unknown, and the only remaining traces from the nation are the ruins and the magic bloodline.

History

Not much is known about the Lostbloods. They were presumed to be proficient at controlling magic, and the high presence of Aervotal found around the ruins. They were probably most advanced civilisation at the time, and had incorporated magic into everyday life. The Lostbloods continued to make large progress in understanding magic. From what was presumed from the ruins, the Lost had built a large building with the purpose of absorbing magic and harnessing it as a form of energy. But something went wrong. The building exploded with magical energy, so powerful that it razed an entire nation, destroying cities and towns, and presumably killing the people. This became the first known cataclysmic event on Aervos Prime. The nation became lost to the world and time.

Lostblooded

Somehow, there were a small amount of survivors of the Lost Calamity. They abandoned there nation, now entirely ruins, and tried to find normal lives. But the survivors were not normal. Their bodies had become infused with magic energy after the explosion, and as a result, their bodies were changed. The first thing noticed was enhanced strength, speed and senses. Their emotions were augmented, leading to emotions intense emotional outbreaks at times. Also changed was their lifespan, increasing to around an additional 100 years. These changes were passed on to descendants as well, except only the first child born from someone with the Lostblood gained the same traits. The Lostbloods are an extremely rare race, and few people are aware that they exist, yet alone seen or know one. Although they are searched for by many different factions, for many varying reasons.
