Principle plane

The Principle Plane is a plane of pure potential for creation. It is the fundamental essence from which the deities were created and from which they themselves started creating other things. Deities used it to create all their worlds and planes of existence. They still use it to create whatever they desire, given that they know how to make it. It is also the plane of raw magic power. This raw magic power is accessed and shaped through what is known as the Weave. The Weave is essentially a highway through which beings can access the power of the Principle Plane to fuel their spellcasting.

It is not a place that one can visit. Anything that enters the Principle Plane will dissolve in its principle components, to its fundamental essence.

Azeth was the first to tap into the Principle Plane to create things. Azeth understood the Principle Plane and the Weave better than anyone else.
