Eladrin

The eladrin were a race of elves from the Feywild that arose in the Second Age alongside their sister tribe, the sylvani). Eladrin were a magically inclined race, and graceful as all elves are.
At the end of the Second Age, the eladrin were nearly entirely wiped out thanks to a ritual performed by their king, Mórtendomë. The few remaining eladrin, having separated from the Black King to join the sylvani and their allies, eventually became high elves.
