Personal history
Firstborn of the Aleuai and their king, named Aelum by Nila the Great Mother herself, he was born beneath the roots of the great tree Muhaitza. Aelum, a name which means Fate, was given dominion over the world, so named Aelutea, "Aelum's Place". Washed over by the tree's dew waters, Aelum received enlightenment from his mother and was gifted some knowledge of the Great Will, or the Boruhandanaia, the guiding force of the vast universe. Nila the Mother taught Aelum many of the secrets of the world and of the great magics that bound the fabric of the Muhaitza to the vast cosmos. Aelum's sorceries and knowledge became great, but ever did his vision of the Boruhandania offer only half of the picture to which the world was fated.
It was by this knowledge of the presence of the Great Will, Aelum along with his siblings Sakratua and Burrun, also born beneath the Muhaitza, came to slay the great giant Aurelmir and give life to the empty word with his body. Aurelmir's eyes became the Sun and the Moon, his flesh became the soil and his sweat brought life to the vast oceans. However, by Aurelmir's last tears sprung the race of the Eutunaz, which means "The Children of Tears" and who would deeply hate the Aleuai for the slaughter of the forebearer.
Aelum would fashion the great realm of Ederice, the realm of the Aleuai, and build the great hall of Aeluala atop the mountain of Trongaren beneath the vast plain of Eremana. During the two great wars between the Aleuai and the Eutunaz, Aelum would play a small part and largely allow his brother Burrun to command the great host of Ederice, the Ostalara. Aelum would birth the Artzaina, the Stewards as he called them but who would come to be Mankind. Twelve great tribes Aelum assigned and he had hoped of their dwelling alongside him in Ederice, but circumstance would see them scattered. In envy and hatred for this new creation of the Aleaui, the Dawn Kings of the Eutunaz created the Kunkal, to harry and hunt the Artzaina. Such was the strength of the Kunkal that they could directly oppose Aelum and the Aleuai, even Burrun himself could not topple them alone.
After two devastating wars against the Eutunaz, first for the slaying of Aurelmir and second for the scattering of Men, the Aleuai and the Eutunaz came to a tense peace. Two weapons were forged by the smith Marinen to secure peace between the two sides, these were the twin hammers Magan, gifted to Burrun, and Hristari which was given to Attagur the giant and brother of Aurelmir. As his domain is the material world itself, he has taken to wandering amidst the world of Men in disguise. It is in this fashion that he has attained godhood to Men, and across the various corners of the world, he is known by many titles, seen in many ways, and is called many names. Throughout the Second Ezinake, Aelum would strive to aid the Artzaina in their struggle against the domination of the Eutunaz. It was Aelum who helped guide the wayward Illani to the shores of the world and guide Man into contact with them. Aelum would help secure and aid the bloodlines of Men which would one day give rise to the hero Gydwïyr, who led the final war against the giants and secured mankind's freedom from the tyranny of the Eutunaz. Yet also, Aelum would safeguard many of the Eutunaz from the wrath of his brother Burrun.
In the years since, Aelum strove to aid and educate many of his family members as his mother Nila had done for him, in the nature of the Boruhandanaia, and help forestall the destined day of Dresirea. Yet in these efforts, it seems Aelum has failed in spectacular ways. Firstly in his relationship with his brother's son Oirhan, who secluded himself far away from the presence of his father and uncle in the deep wilderness of the world. Aelum's next pupil would be his most successful as his brother's grandson Lorat seemed ever eager to learn and be aided by his elder and king. Lorat and Aelum would be nearest in thought and in temperament. Yet another of Aelum's pupils would dash these dreams, Armaretzen.
Armaretzen was the son of Errandea, the daughter of Burrun, and of Hast who was of the line of Mataúgr, son of Kronaðr the Dawn King. While the love of Errandea and Hast was pure and joyful, the perceived defilement of the favorite child of Burrun by one of the great enemies of the Aleuai caused the wrathful Burrun to judge and slay Hast. Armaretzen was left with no father, yet was dotted over by his mother as he seemed the spitting image of her beloved husband. Tenderly was Armaretzen raised, but he soon wished for independence and ventured to the world of Men and came to travel and journey there. He sought out the wisdom of his king and Aelum welcomed him happily. Armaretzen devoured knowledge, he feasted on the teachings of his great uncle and Aelum came to love him greatly. Yet Armaretzen, by some means, came to grow spiteful, arrogant, and ever eager to expand his own power and come to some secret strength. He was disillusioned with the state of the world, which he saw as now corrupted by the sins of the past and beholden to death and decay due to them. He openly advocated for the forging of a new world, which would entail the complete destruction and devastation of Aelutea, a fate Aelum did not see for it. Armaretzen's hate grew under the eye of Aelum and he did not see its fullness until by Armaretzen's hand, Lorat was slain in disagreement in Aeluala.
For the great crime of kinslaying, Aelum banished his prized pupil and pseudo-son to the torturous realm of Vukalin where he would eternally remain. The murder of Lorat and the imprisonment of Armaretzen shattered the kinship of the Aeluai, each retreated to their abodes and Aeluala became a cold and empty hall. Of all the Aleuai, Aelum was most devastated by this loss, yet he remained as he had always been and continued in his duties to the world that bore his name.

Social Aptitude
Skeptical, imaginative, and questioning, Aelum remains devoted to his pursuit of new knowledge and goes out of his way to engage with the natural world as much as he possibly can. Aelum is sometimes known to visit the halls of kings and emperors and test them on their own knowledge in wagers and bets. However, Aelum can be an unknowable being, a driven yet alien figure stuck between mortal and divine realms who remains an outsider in both. Among his family, he still commands a certain amount of reverence but he now keeps them at a distance, since the betrayal of Armaretzen.
