The eldest daughter of House Valcairn has transformed into a reclusive scholar whose rare appearances at family functions or noble gatherings are marked by her distant gaze and distracted manner. While many attribute her withdrawn nature to the trauma of watching her family's fall from grace, the truth is far more complex: Reighlynne has become utterly consumed by her research into the secrets of Nytheris Iluthar.
Reighlynne's daily routine revolves entirely around her research. She rises before dawn to record her dreams, believing they may contain inspiration or insight, then spends hours cross-referencing ancient texts with maps of the ward tower placements. Her rooms have become a chaotic nest of parchments, magical measuring devices, and star charts that only make sense to her increasingly complex theories about Nytheris Iluthar's true intentions.
Recently, she has become convinced that the ward system serves a dual purpose: while protecting the kingdom from external threats, it also contains or suppresses something ancient and powerful beneath Eldoria itself. This theory has led her to attempt correlating magical anomalies within the kingdom's borders with specific configurations of the ward energies, work that requires dangerous expeditions to sites where she believes these anomalies might be detected. Despite her parents' concerns about her obsessive behavior, they cannot deny the scholarly rigor of her methods nor the potentially revolutionary implications of her findings.
