Long-Wave Radio
A technology made popular over in the country of Sakiichiba, long-wave radios have made their way over to the Sakiichiba district in Testserleg, and have ingrained themselves somewhat in the daily lives of people across Khuurmag.
The technology is an extremely optimized and modified version of the Sending Stone spell, which requires the user to hold a specially-carved stone idol (whose shape is reminiscent of a conical air purifier) who resonates the transmitted sounds from a large tower with a matching stone at a much-larger scale. This resonator is called a radio, and can have its channels changed due to the angle which it is being held at. Commercially, the radio tower in Tsetserleg broadcasts audio of the various gambling games around the city such as Pokažuvaat district's game shows, Pradarśan's district's Show of a Lifetime, the pet constests in the Chertaminè district, and the higher-stakes gambling games in the Waqta Fursatine.
Due to the compactness of the sending stone needed to broadcast a signal a far distance, there may easily be other broadcasting sending stones in other locations around Ezlekh and its surrounding territories which would otherwise go largely unnoticed. The precision of the carving of these Sending Stones also makes this form of communication very covert, and therefore may be used by those who want to communicate messages only to trusted listeners.
