Their name translates to "trash animals", which describes the outlook of these animals by the citizens of Jordmässig.
These creatures have been specifically bred by Jordmässig geneticists to grow as quickly and effortlessly as possible in order to increase the efficiency of their byproduct output. Jarl Skipavèl's decisions pioneered this genetic breakthrough nearly 50 years ago, and since then, these creatures have only grown larger, more braindead, and less mobile over that time. The creatures whom were modified in this category include chickens, turkeys, beef cows, pigs, and rabbits.
Basic Information
Anatomy
These creatures were specifically bred in the city of Jordmässig's Skaperen Workshop for the express purpose of obtaining the maximum amount of animal byproducts as quickly and efficiently as possible. This has resulted in these creatures all being nearly the same size despite their original species, each being around 8ft-tall blobs of red-to white transluscent flesh, each not having legs or identifiable facial features minus large gaping maws for mouths.
Genetics and Reproduction
These creatures, despite originally being mammals or avians, have evolved (thanks to testing) to reproduce asexually. When these creatures grow old, which happens in the span of 2-3 weeks, they shed an outer layer of themselves, which contains their central nervous section. This effectively kills the animal, while also giving birth to its offspring in one fell swoop. These offspring are nearly identical to their predecessors, and can only be told apart by their body textures and hues being slightly different than those that came before them.
Ecology and Habitats
These animals are kept only on the outside 4th floor farms of Jordmässig, and they can survive in nearly any conditions due to their globular body structure being made of 95% meat and fat. These creatures mainly live in small metal/glass shelters where food is ferried from tubes above them directly into their mouths, this is where 90% of their lives are spent, however they do occasionally get up to bask in the sunlight, before slowly slithering back to their enclosures.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They solely feed off of crops grown inside of Jordmässig which have been injected with proteins which allow the animals to grow to their massive sizes. These foods taste divine to these eternally-starving creatures thanks to their modified senses; to anyone else, these crops taste like bad medicine or plastics. These animals each eat an average of 30lbs of this feed a day, which can be easily be upkept by the city's farms on its lower floors.
Behaviour
To say these creatures are docile is an understatement, they have been bred to barely even think, allowing for these creatures to be easily moved and to avoid problems with the creatures doing anything that could disrupt the efficient process of farming in Jordmässig.

Due to their genetic tinkering, these animals have very few senses, save for extremely enhanced taste and smell senses. These senses allow for these creatures to ravenously eat the chemically-treated grasses and other livestock which is fed to them en masse through feeding tubes in their stalls
