The Old Man
He's a wanderer in tattered clothes. But while his appearance may seem that of a poor man there lies a fortune behind his one dim eye and his toothless grin. For he is a wise old man, a scholar, in touch with nature and the spirits. He knows truths that most think are mere fairy tales and he knows of the myths that most think are truths.
He has traveled far and wide on his worn sandals and wherever he goes he communes with land and spirits. They are drawn to him, small and large, the spirits seek him out and he calms them, plays for them on his bone flute. He seeks the wind and dances with it. He feels rumbling agony of the mountains heals it. He listens to the crashing of the waves and seeks to soothe the ocean. He sees the desperation of a panting fire and gives it purpose.
His name is Noaidi and he is one with the world.
