Aeilon

The world of Aeilon, where mortals dwell is in tandem with it's twin realm Aeiloth, from whence magic and spirit creatures of the elements comes. They revolve around an unseen axis and align once every 800 years, allowing magic to flow freely over to the mortal world as well as the spirits coming with it. Is it the spirit that being magic or the magic that brings spirits? No one knows.   Soon the worlds will reach their fourth alignment and magic will once again flow into Aeilon. The world hushes in silent anticipation, ready to celebrate the wonders of magic and the joy of the spirits. However, while the People of Aeilon know the dangers of magic, the risk it poses to those who wield it with wanton use, there is something far more insidious seeping into the world. A spawn of the twin world has made its way into the lives of those unaware of its prescence.   Meanwhile, in the land of Adhair, unrest is brewing. The noble houses to the northwest are joining together under the banner of the young lord [placeholder] against the church-ruled empire in an attempt to break free and gain their own sovreignty. As of now the empire's forces are overwhelming, yet wherever the young lord travels he seems to gain followers. However, there have been whispers that there is more to this young man than meets the eye.
