Nehla, The Daughter Tree

Nelha, the Daughter Tree, is a massive tree that covers miles of forest in eastern Valia. Beneath her ever-moving cloud-like canopy lies the Realm of Shifting Shadows, a mysterious and innavigable mix of fog and magic that is guarded by the elves that protect and worship her. Nehla is said to have a connection to undeath, as those who die in her realm are "collected" by her in a fashion not fully understood by mages across Aedelor.
