Royal Ista Family

was founded by Raziel Ista I, whose family still rules it to this day. Leadership passes to the eldest child, regardless of race, gender, or even direct blood relation - interracial or same-sex marriage and adoption are not at all rare within the Royal Ista Family, owing to the multicultural melting-pot of itself.
The Emperor or Empress takes a celestial name upon ascending to the throne, indicating their dedication to their Empire and to the Sovereign Host. Their partner is known as the Emperor- or Empress-Consort, and has no right to the throne themselves; the Consort only takes power as regent should tragedy occur and the next-in-line is too young to lead. The heir to the throne is called the Sovereign Prince or Princess, with all other children of the family being a Prince or Princess.
At present, Istoria is ruled by Emperor Ramiel III and his husband, Emperor-Consort Senya Ista, along with their two children Sovereign Princess Liliana Ista and Prince Nikolai Ista.
