The Acentian Kingdom (Uh-cent-ee-ann)
Structure
Throughout the history of the Acentian Kingdom there have been many rulers both kings and queens... the most famous of which is Queen Isabella the XIX who reigned from 1721 to 1786 and was highly influential in Acentian history of that time. under the Monarch there is a council of lords or governors that deals with most of the day to day operations of each of their fiefs.
Culture
The Culture of Acentia has always revolved around the Sea and the trade and exploration opertunites that come with it. in the ancient days of the island, many tribes build small boats and explored other nearby islands in the archipelago. by the 1700s (i.e. the hight of the kingdoms power) many aspects of the ocean were highly prevalent in high fashion within the Kingdom. many women wore ornate dressed with buttons made of seashells, bone, old ships timber, and many other items taken from the sea and polished up. blues and sea greens were very popular clothing colors and on women's dresses puffy lace was often popular due to its similar appearance to sea foam. even up until the Civil war period and the begining of the People's Democratic Republic Of Acentia that exists in the Modern period, these colors and culture are still somewhat present.

Public Agenda
Generally the Kingdom focused mostly on trade and colonization aswell as exploration.
Assets
Military: The Acentian Kingdom boasted a typically large military with around 600,000 men available at any time weather that be soldiers, recruits, or military aged males. additionally they boasted a large professional cavalry force of around 12,000 horse at any given time. Finally they Kingdom usually fielded around 200 guns of varying size at any point. as far as the navy goes, at its hight in the 1750s it had anywhere from 80 to 100 dedicated warships and over 200 other ships that could be used for war such as Indiamen, Fluyts, and other armed merchant ships.
Material: As far as Material assets go, the Acentian Kingdom was the richest nation of its time with around 100 million gold coins in its possetion at its hight.
History
After nearly three hundred years of foreign rule, the people of the island of Acentia wanted freedom and so the Acentian War of Independence (1480 - 1497) was fought and the Kingdom of Acentia was formed. During the war The City of Acentia was actually Sacked and almost destroyed. nearly 8,000 Acentians died in the war (pictured below)
When the war was over Acentia had its freedom and a long peace in which they began to explore and colonize until around 1610 when the Sturgian Empire invaded from the north and the Grand war of Kings (1610-1632) began with the battle of Kardorf (pictured below)
during the duration of the war king Desian IV was killed in the Naval Action at Scapen point (pictured below)
after the war had ended there was another long peace where society attempted to forget about the horrors of the war and focused heavily on Art and Architecture specifically. several rebellions broke out in the early to mid 1750s and in 1759 the Chivalric war (1759 - 1766) broke out and ended the era of peace. from then until the kingdoms fall into civil war in the early 20th century there would be only 3 months of total peace. most wars were small, however the War of Haarvian Succession (1899-1906) was the largest and deadliest of all... this war led almost directly to the Acentian Civil War.
Disbandment
After the Civil war had ended the new nation of the People's Democratic Republic Of Acentia was built on Communist ideology and is still a major power into the modern era.
