Grimme Tidings
The PCs are directed by Cheshire to the village of Leuftjager, where they will meet with Willhelm Grimme and Jakkob Grimme , two researchers trying to learn about the monsters of the Schwarzer Wald.
The brothers have in their possession a mirror that will allow travel to the Wonderlands, but will only agree to help if the PCs will check on the disappearance of two children from Leuftjager
Plot points/Scenes
The children, Hansen and Gertrude, went deep into the forest, where they discovered a house made of gingerbread. Eating the gingerbread, they were entranced and entered the house of Rosina Leckermaul, a green hag who has been fattening up the children to eat them later.
Structure
Exposition
Cheshire catches up to the PCs and tells them that the only way Sulroth can be cured is to be taken back to the Wonderlands , and that only the Red Queen knows the cure. There is only one way to travel to the Wonderlands in time, and that is by a magic mirror held by two brongers in the nearby village of Leuftjager .
Conflict
Maybe some encounters in th e wilderness?
Rising Action
The PCs find Rosina Leckermaul 's cottage, meeting the (seemingly) kind old lady within.
If anyone eats any of the gingerbread or candy of Rosina Leckermaul 's home, they must make a Wisdom save, DC 18, or become charmed by the hag if/when combat erupts, getting another saving throw each round after combat starts
Climax
Rosina Leckermaul 's true nature as a powerful hag is revealed. To find/free the children, the PCs must defeat her and her four jelly blobs (use Gelatinous Cube stats)
