Knife Point
Both the name of a geographical and a growing city-state, Knife Point, is home to the seafaring humans known as Pointers. They have a not so friendly rivalry with the dwarves of Qrisk for control of trade in the world.
Structure
The Council of Captains rule over the people of Knife Point on a day-to-day basis. The Crowned Captain is the overall leader and face of the government. Each ship's captain has some voting rights and is able to participate in elections and major votes.

Believe a person's value to society is directly proportional to their ability to sail and handle themselves on the sea.

Territories
Knife Point as a region is very small and inhospitable. The cliffs and craggy beaches leave little for farming or large estates. The population instead pushes out to the sea in huddle masses.
Foreign Relations
Pointers get along with everyone, except the Qrisk. Their trading rivals are hard to get along with as they compete for trade deals and control of different markets.
Agriculture & Industry
Knife Point has little to no agriculture depending on The Plains and others for their food. The industry they are most known for is their boat making and upkeep. In the last decade, many of the most powerful captains have also started in loans and money management. This has flown in the face of their main trading rivals, the Qrisk.
