Personal history
Xavier was raised by Luxrin in Emwood, who taught him and trained him in the sword. But Luxrin never told Xavier how he was created, nor did he tell him anything about the The Lord of Chaos or what Xavier's life would be like after he was gone. Despite this, Xavier was very close to his dad, and grew up like any normal child.
He only really had one close friend, Alric, so he isn't great
Shortly after he turned 18, he saw his father die, an event which commenced the Dominion of Darkness, and Xavier has since had a physically and emotionally demanding life, one that has lead him to breaking point many times, but he is determined to avenge his fallen father.
Education
Xavier was taught by his Father and never received formal education.
Mental Trauma
Shortly after his 18th birthday, Xavier saw his home ablaze, and was told his father was trapped inside. He watched as part of his house crumble, thinking he had seen the death of his dad, he saw a shadowy figure emerge from the house, and has been in pursuit of it ever since.

Xavier strives to avenge the death of his father, Luxrin, Sage of the Sword, believing that the death of the murderer will atone for Luxrin's passing. But towards the end, Xavier desires to end the tyrannical reign of the Lord of Chaos.

History
Luxrin was given Xavier in 333 AFB when Xavier was born. Luxrin gave Xavier a 'normal childhood' and wouldn't tell Xavier anything about the true circumstances of his birth and heritage. Luxrin trained Xavier in the sword and taught him skills like independence and courage. Luxrin loved Xavier more than anything in the world, but he still raised Xavier in such a way so that Xavier would eventually be able to defeat the Lord of Chaos and set his life on a linear path, withholding many secrets from Xavier.
