Personal history
Colonel Virgo was born in Talbury in 317 AFB and was raised in a loving home with his two parents. He learnt how to use a bow and was an archery prodigy. When he was 14, his parents and he moved to Deorum as his parents wanted to pursue a life that is more involved with the Holy Order . He trained with the The Templarhood with the bow and also in hand-to-hand combat.
He officially joined the Templarhood when he was 18 and quickly rose through the ranks, being promoted to a colonel in 349 AFB and was a well respected Templar officer. He often didn't agree with the Supreme Templar on many decisions and more preferred the ideals of Major General Leo, and remained true to the founding values of the Templarhood.
On a skirmish against Rotillim’s forces at the start of the Anarchic Takeover, the Colonel noticed a figure emerge from amidst the fighting and he sees it change form and make his way to a small grove. The Colonel ordered two Templars to pursue it. One came back, carrying the corpse of the other and says that he lost the figure. Eventually they called a retreat and fell back to Flowem Dock to depart back to Deorum, but the Colonel gets attacked by some of Rotillim's undead forces, and ran into the same grove the figure ran into for cover. When he was in there, he sees the corpse of the man that came out carrying the other Templar, and immediately thinks something is amiss. ‘You weren’t supposed to see that, Colonel’ he hears. He turns around and sees Michaelon, and now he knows he’s in trouble. Hearing some twigs snap behind him, He turned around and got mauled by the undead from earlier. He fended them off, but with intense mental stress and from the forceful bludgeoning to the head, he blacks out. He awoke to find himself being carried by a Templar, he is asked where he has been and Colonel has little memory of it all, just a figure, and his future memory, would struggle quite greatly.
Education
He received his education up to his mid-teens in Talbury even-receiving training in their army, but his parents moved to Deorum to get more involved with the Holy Order and thus received the rest of his education with them, and took on their beliefs more strongly.
Employment
He entered the Templarhood as a Second Lieutenant due to the prior training with them that he had before his 18th birthday, and then was promoted to Lieutenant at the start of his 2nd year. He was promoted to Captain at the start of his 4th year and then to major after 7 years of service. At the start of his 11th year he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, and then Colonel to mark his 14th.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Colonel Virgo is the highest ranking templar to have initially trained with the Talburian military.
Mental Trauma
He took a very serious knock to the head during a skirmish near Fort Ifrad shortly after the Anarchy's world-wide takeover. Since then, Colonel Virgo's memory has taking severe damage, and he finds it hard to commit things to his long-term memory.
Morality & Philosophy
His morals are aligned with the values of the Holy Order and the Templarhood, though he is very conflicted about disobeying the orders of a superior if he believes that what he has been ordered to do is morally wrong. He tries to find like-minded people to validate his beliefs and has often disagreed with Supreme Templar Michaelon for his very militaristic stance.
