Kiara is the interning overseer at Agrin's Plantation and the favorite daughter of the high priest of Tyranus, Typhon. Kiara grew up in a pampered environment with her terrifying father showering her with affection. Despite that, the faith of Tyranus never sat well with her as the idea of hurting others has always made her sick. At the same, this is all she knew. One day, she found a book about the Nine buried deep in the family library. The idea of forces that made their own destiny intrigued her, and since then, Kiara began studying arcane magic in secret from her dad. While she’s by no means a supporter of the Nine, she has started forging her own path.
Not showing any talents in divine magic, Kiara asked her father to give her a chance to prove herself, which got her the internship at Agrin's Plantation, and generous allowance. Her father was elated that his favorite daughter was following in his footsteps. Using the money, Kiara began buying more magical books, including ones on a hazardous topic like time magic. Never having been taught magic, she had no compunction about messing with time.. something all reasonable mages avoid.
As her studies progressed, so did her ambition. She has started crafting a new spell that could peer through time. However, she has made glaring mistakes in her rituals, accidentally infusing herself with unstable time magic and turning herself and the plantation into a time bomb that would explode with any provocation. The mistake she made is quite simple: instead of divination symbols she put conjuration runes. Unfortunately this early mistake has had some far-reaching consequences.
Besides magical tomes, Kiara likes to collect plush toys that she arranges carefully on her bed. The jewel of her collection is the magical plush golden dragon, Nikki. Besides arcane books, she reads trashy smut novels such as "Half-size Lover'' and "Naughty Mage Hand" which she thinks in her inexperience are the accurate representation of what romance looks like. If anybody tries to blackmail Kiara, she'll initially assume they are talking about those books first. She is also a bachelor of historical sciences of Golgatha Royal University, a degree she obtained remotely as Typhon was too protective of her to let her go to university.
Kiara is a paradox, a time wizard born into one of the most influential clerical families. A slaver who is nauseated even by the sight of violence. The one who raised evil but with a heart that leans well. This paradox threatens to tear her apart figuratively and rather literally.
