Wah Feydan
Wah Feydan is a Primordial God, the Elemental Lord of Water. She is the Voice of the Deep, the Master of the Roiling Seas, and the Cruel Hand of Fate. Wah Feydan cares for no one and the sailors of the world pray to her to earn respite from the unrelenting battering of the seas. Way Feydan is neutral and truly favors few, though is easily mollified trhough proper worship. Only the most disrespectful earn her ire in full, but even her neutral outlook is dangerous upon her domain.
The high seas roil and bubble constantly, only the smallest of corridors are calm waters that can be easily sailed. The waters near the coasts remain relatively calm but to sail upon the deep is to put yourself into the Cruel Hand of Fate.
Wah Feydan manages the Ethereal Seas as well, the currents of the Ethereal gathering the souls of the dead, whom Fate saw fit to claim. Wah Feydan works with Kethix to guide souls to the proper afterlife, her currents uniting psychopomps and lost souls.
Beliefs and Worshippers
Wah Feydan is worshipped by sailors, seafolk, and those who live along the coasts. People require her favor to reduce the terrible risk of nautical disaster and tsunamis. They pray for bountiful catches and quickened voyages in addition to safety. The Master of the Roiling Seas demands a variety of rituals such as the sacrifice of a portion of food and water to the sea accompanied by a prayer each day of travel across the open waters.
Wah Feydan is one of the gods of Fate and as such many prayers are made to her for the safe passage of souls to their afterlife. She dislikes the ethereal undead such as ghosts who manage to escape the Ethereal Seas and interact with the material world again, requiring her believers to destroy such monsters. Ressurection magics are anathema to the Voice of the Deep, she dislikes such cheating of Fate. Normal undeath is not such a loophole and is a natural option available to the souls of the dead. Like all undead though, they should stay in their chosen plane of afterlife, which is why ethereal monsters touching upon the material plane is abhorrent.
Minor magics of fortune, such as a spell to cheat dice through luck and fate, are seen as minor sins. Major effects of the same type, such as a Wish spell to alter history, are anathema to Wah Feydan. Her clergy are given special dispensation to use fate magic in her name.
