Talia

Talia is a Primordial God, the Elemental Lord of Air, the Goddess of Storms, the Prime Chaos, and the Watcher Beyond the World. Talia has a capricous streak, she is fickle and changes moods and opinions quickly and constantly. Talia grows bored and loves the variety and thus entertainment mortals bring into the world. Talia has poor relations with most other Gods as she disdains the unyielding and unchanging natures of most immortals.

The Goddes of Storms has placed a boundary of storms around the lands of Adragal, far out on the sea that grow increasingly violent the further out you travel. She maintains this is for mortals to test themselves upon her might, to strive and succeed or fail to the delight of all. Nobody knows what lies beyond the boundary storms but those few that have returned from the far seas have tales of grand adventures and lost and forgotten lands, backed with strange and unexplainable magics or artefacts.

It is said the boundary storms are the seperation of this plane and the rest, the chaos of the Astral Seas. Talia watches Adragal from beyond the pale of her boundaries storms, keeping outsiders away as much as keeping mortals in.

Beliefs and Worshippers

Worshippers of Talia put on grand and extravagent events to please their god. Music, art, fashion, and performances are forms of worship for those of the faith. Arclings are the most common worshippers of Talia, given their inherent ties to her Eternal Tempest and Azurti. Talia is also often worshipped by artists and performers.

Depictions

Talia is depicted as a sylph or arcling woman with clothes made of storm clouds and holding a chalice. She usually appears in poses of laughter or anger, a smriked or frown never far from her lips.

History

When the Divine War War first got out of hand with the killing of Kamakavaki and Ish Kaman began his rage, endangering Adragal and the mortals therein, Talia managed to convince the other Primordial Gods and other divine beings to intercede in the fight and put boundaries in place on the Divine War to ensure Adragal would survive. As her worshippers died in the sinking of Old Azurti, she wept as the land cracked and was lost to the waves. Her tears became the Eternal Tempest, a divine epitaph for the fallen. Her tears changed the survivors of Old Azurti, changing them into the new race known as arclings.
