Sevratha Holloweye
Sevratha Holloweye is the revered Bone-Seer of the Hollow Council—a death-bound oracle entombed within layers of corpse-silk, embalming oils, and sacred spores. Once a renowned prophet in the courts of the High Elves, she was exiled and entombed alive after foretelling the downfall of her kin. She was later unearthed by Thornshroud druids, her withered body still murmuring prophecy through cracked lips. Now, animated by ritual and purpose, she serves as the Dominion’s foremost seer of fate, rot, and memory.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Sevratha is a living relic, wrapped in pale silken bandages made from alchemically treated skin, stitched with vein-thread and embroidered with necrotic runes. Her face is exposed only from the nose down, where her jaw and mouth—long since skeletal—move independently of breath. Her eye sockets are hollow, glowing with violet soulflame. A crown of brittle bone shards and fungal blooms sprouts from the back of her skull like a deathly halo.
Special abilities
- Bonecasting: Sevratha casts engraved bones onto sacred rot-cloths to interpret omens and the flow of fate. Each bone represents a soul fragment, and their arrangement determines the Dominion’s choices in war, governance, and ritual.
- Rot Divination: By observing how fungal growth spreads across bodies, roots, or offerings, she deciphers celestial alignments and foresees moments of weakness or transformation.
- Corpse Whispering: Sevratha can commune with any dead creature whose skull she holds, even piecing together fragments of identity and motive from partial remains.
- Time-Stained Mind: Her memory holds centuries of prophecy, some of which she speaks backward or in riddles, requiring the Thorn-Speaker or others to interpret her meaning.

On the Hollow Council, Sevratha is regarded as the most inscrutable member. Her visions are rarely challenged, though her true meanings often emerge only after disaster or victory has unfolded. Even King Daerion pauses when she speaks—if only because he knows her prophecies have never failed.
Mannerisms
Sevratha is eerily calm, speaking in slow, careful tones with an ever-present echo in her voice. She sees existence as a spiraling cycle of death and renewal and bears no hatred—only acceptance of the decay that shapes all things. Though she appears detached, she fiercely protects the continuity of fate as she perceives it, even if that means guiding allies toward doom to preserve the greater weave.
