Alachia

Alachia was the capital of the Imperium. It vanished along with its entire population and the Imperial elite, during the final Imperial Conclave. 
At its hight Alachia was the largest city in the Imperium, housing over 700.000 people. The city was famed for its many temples, and for its enchanted city walls, which kept it safe for centuries. 
The plain where Alachia once stood remains empty to this day. It is said to be haunted, and those who linger there overlong speak of strange dreams and ghostly images.
