Nagas

The nagas are the name given to the gigantic world spanning serpents that roam the oceans of Cadmeias moon Ecliptica. These serpents can grow to the size of the krakens of Cadmeia and only two of them have ever been identified and only one ever directly seen, not counting the dead body of one found in a deep sea trench of the ecliptican oceans. Their latest sighting was in the bloodlight wars and the fall of Cadmeia in which they took a great toll on the traitor warships but were ultimately rendered almost extinct. Today the nagas are very few in number but yet they dominate the oceans of ecliptica. Unlike the other beings of ecliptica however, the nagas are the only race that are created from psychic energy and biomatter instead of biomatter, similar to the cadmeian celesital troll, Celestial dragon and kraken.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Nagas resemble the serpent jorumgandr from the old norse mythology of Terra in both size, shape and appearance. The largest specimen found was around the size of Venus . They weigh very light however and this intrigues the federation xenobiologists as to what their muscles and bones are made of. The one fossil that was found in the underwater ocean trenches of Ecliptica was too deep for crews to extract to the surface so the oceanic bots conducted experiments and research on site rather than bringing it back. Preliminary reports have shown them to be made out of biomatter infused with large concentrations of psychic energy to make an ultra strong and lightweight material that could morph into different shapes based on the will of the serpent itself.
Scientific Name

So I like that you took a term, nagas, and completely reworked it to alienate it from the trope. Jorumgandr is one of my favorite figures from the Norse gods. The nagas seem to be a rather tragic race, and its sad their are so few. Being made of psychic energy, are they in any way sentient? Can they commune with others? Are they worshipped at all given that the largest was the size of Venus? Is there any other corelatikb of Norse myrhology, particularly loki or the jotun? I'm not trying to bombard you but this article leaves me hungry for more info.
