Common Dress code

Warm is the name of the game. They use the shorn wool and fur of local fauna to keep warm, anything less would be a death sentence. They're clothing is designed with protection in mind, for the cold, and to cushion a potential fall.

Funerary and Memorial customs

They preform what we call sky burials. They leave the deceased body out on a specified "body ground" for the wild to claim. It's seen as the last step in the circle of life, to return the body to animals.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

The Obeski'pec'e, in general, stray more towards pale olive, or pale warm skin tones, and this lightness is seen as being "snow-blessed". Incomparison, dark ebony hair and dark eyes are praised for it's contrast to the skin color.

Gender Ideals

Due to steep inclines and long falls, Obeski'pec men and women are both shorter than their low-lander counterparts (6'3~ for women, 5'5~ for men). This reduced height allows them to more safely travel the mountains without the fear of toppling over because of a high center of gravity. Long faces, square chins, and long dark hair are the ideal for women in Obeski'pec society. Functional muscles and full figures are idolized as well.

This is a great idea for creating a group of people or intelligent species that feel different.
