Catramansi Fruit

Catramansi Fruits thrive in cold climates, like those of Kreshniva and Saiba. The trees they grow on have naturally long roots that grow deep into the ground, allowing them to survive the frigid temperatures. However, they are able to be transferred to some other places, given the proper care and attention.
Catramansi Fruits tend to grow in clumps of five berries, with each berry being about the size of a plum. Each fruit is a pink-ish purple color. During springtime they appear as small flowers with five white petals, each petal having light purple tips.
Catramansi Fruits are a staple of both Saiban and Kreshman culture, though they're also quite popular in other regions. This is especially true for regions in which they cannot grow, where they're almost seen as a rare treat.
The fruits themselves can best be described as tasting like a mixture of apples and raspberries, though not with as much juice as those two fruits. Because of this, they're commonly used in pastries and desserts. The most well-known use of Catramansi Fruits in desserts and pastries is in Kreshniva's Kvo'sabi Festival.
