Ixtapal (Iks-tah-pal)

Ixtapal is the City that most men fear, rumours of Ixtapal spread like a wild fire, A civilisation who isolate themselves within the Jungles of Kraios and make very little contact with the outside world. The truth of Ixtapal is, they are incredibly self sufficient and capable of using the jungles to their advantage, the beasts of the jungles can be tamed, harvested and trained to provide for a variety of needs and the city has access to many resources that most men wouldn't dream to go near for fear of being swallowed by the forest. The population is made up mainly of Cold-blooded races who can handle themselves in the rainforest.

Government

The City is run from the top through the commands of a God, the God Chosen can communicate directly with the God that chose them to run Ixtapal and the Gods commands are passed down through the devout. The law dictates that every Male within the City must be trained in combat from a young age and can be conscripted to the defence of the City at any point, this law specifies the defence as there is no such requirement for offensive wars. Tax is not a requirement in Ixtapal, however, most people pay tributes hoping it will bring good fortune.

The Settlement is the oldest one on Kraios and plans to keep that title. The Ixtapalese have fought as many as 17 defensive wars against the armies of the Bazaaren Empire and Silvaria.
